Sedation dentistry is fully customised to meet your needs. Sedatives can be given orally or may be inhaled as we can provide Penthrox or nitrous oxide. The level of sedation provided can range from mild to moderate. If you are particularly anxious or require complex or lengthier dental treatment we may suggest intravenous dentistry which will provide a deeper sense of relaxation. This form of sedation is also called sleep dentistry. Although you may feel very drowsy during treatment, you will still be conscious, but you are very unlikely to remember your treatment.
