Digital X-Rays in Bundoora

An OPG or orthopantomogram x-ray, is an image that shows all your upper and lower teeth and jaws, as well as your jaw joints. This is a specialised x-ray that will be taken in our OPG room. It is non-invasive and only takes a few seconds, during which time you will need to stand still while the x-ray arm travels around you.

If you have a problem requiring closer investigation, we will need to take an x-ray, but otherwise you will only need x-rays periodically. The majority of healthy adults will only need a set of x-rays every two years, with OPG x-rays typically being taken every 2-3 years.
