Night Guards Bundoora

Night guards are customised devices that generally fit over the upper teeth. Some will cover all the upper teeth, while others, particularly those designed for sleep apnoea may only fit over the upper front teeth.

A night guard for bruxism and TMJ prevents the upper and lower teeth from contacting, reducing the impulse to clench and grind and preventing damage to your teeth and jaws. If you require a night guard for sleep apnoea, it is designed to hold your lower jaw slightly forwards, helping to keep your airway open during sleep. They are made from a tough thermoplastic material and are comfortable to wear.
