Dr Ravi is an overseas trained specialist and has been a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists since 2010. In 2011, Dr Ravi gained his Post Graduate Certificate of Clinical Ultrasound from Melbourne University. He holds a European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) from the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and which he obtained in 2015. EDIC is an organisation seeking to standardise education and training of intensive care in Europe and in other countries, and many jurisdictions specify this qualification in intensive care medicine. In 2018, Dr Ravi received his Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research Methods from Monash University. Dr Ravi has been proactive in writing the vision for Mobile Anesthetics services to match and surpass Australian standards, using his extensive knowledge of clinical studies and design.
Far from taking his skills for granted, Dr Ravi views being an anesthesiologist as a great honour as it provides him with the opportunity to be the advocate for his clients when they are having surgery. Dr Gunjan Bangia grew up in India, graduating from Bharti Vidyapeeth with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 2001. Dr Gunjan’s special interests include general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, implantology, oral surgery, periodontics and prosthodontics. As a caring and gentle dentist, Dr Gunjan is particularly passionate about educating her patients and empowering them with the knowledge and skills to look after their oral health, especially given the close links with general health.
One of the things Dr Gunjan especially loves is being able to restore dental health, enabling her patients to smile, eat a nutritious, enjoyable diet and to generally achieve an optimal sense of wellbeing. Dr Gunjan has been an integral part of the Banyule Community Health Dental Team for 9 years. As the senior dentist, Dr Gunjan has led the team for more than 5 years. Under her abled leadership and visionary approach, BCH received recognition as one of the top three dental health services in Victoria, awarded by DHSV. In 2012, Dr Gunjan was nominated for the prestigious Public Healthcare Awards, in recognition for her significant contribution to public oral healthcare in Victoria.
Being a responsible and highly committed member of the dental community, Dr Gunjan is actively involved in mentoring first year dental graduates from across Australia and from overseas. She has been a registered mentor with DHSV and is with Australian Dental Association. She has been instrumental in designing guidelines for Melbourne University Dental students and had been a Lead Student Supervision dentist at BCH. Along with a passion for teaching, Dr Gunjan has mentored experienced dentists for their clinics as well as for student supervision.
Not only interested in dentistry, Dr Gunjan is an ardent reader and enjoys philosophy, fiction, autobiographies and writes poetry. A keen cook, Dr Gunjan describes it as ‘creating food’ and feels that good food and a general sense of well-being goes hand in hand. As a mum, Dr Gunjan enjoys reading about parenting and is supported by her husband in raising their two children. She also enjoys the tennis & cricket seasons and likes to sketch.

Helen Gotti is our qualified Dental Therapist, having graduated from the Dental Therapy School of Victoria in 1983. She is a member of the Australian and New Zealand School of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD). Helen regularly attends CPD courses, continually updating her skills and further increasing her knowledge. Using experience gained from working within the Private and Public sector, Helen helped to establish the current Banyule Community Health Primary School Outreach Program, participating in the recent graduate Oral Health Therapy program. Helen is a clinical demonstrator to Dental Therapy students at the Dental Hospital and regularly mentors staff.
Fluent in English and Greek, Helen is skilled in dealing with dental issues in children of all ages and she is particularly passionate about the prevention of oral disease, strongly believing in providing high quality, comprehensive and comfortable dental care. Helen is especially interested in helping anxious or nervous children, those who have experienced paediatric trauma and children with special needs. Aided by her extensive experience in behaviour management for anxious children, Helen uses a tell, show, do technique that is recognised as being the preferred way to introduce children to dental care.
Helen is excellent at connecting with children of all ages as they find her calm and gentle approach to treatment soothing and reassuring. Appointments are never rushed, and Helen takes pride in explaining treatments and procedures to her young patients, using language they can easily relate to and understand. This caring approach helps to provide the best treatment outcomes for children and their families.
Helen enjoys a broad range of hobbies and interests outside of dentistry, her favourite of which is exercising.
