Lets talk Dental Veneers
Veneers are custom-made to fit over an existing tooth. Unlike a crown which covers the whole tooth, a veneer is bonded to the front surface of the tooth. Sculpted from very thin pieces of porcelain in a dental laboratory, veneers complement your natural teeth in their translucent light reflecting quality, making them a natural choice for restoring your smile.
Porcelain veneers can make a chipped tooth intact again- the porcelain covers the whole of the front of the tooth replacing the broken part. Veneers are also used to close small gaps, when orthodontics are not suitable or practical. If one tooth is slightly out of position, a veneer can be fitted to bring it into line with the rest of the teeth.
Although alternative products are available, porcelain is the ideal medium for veneers. This is because it has natural tooth colour and translucency, and it resists staining. When applied to teeth using the latest dental techniques, porcelain is also extremely strong and durable.
