Certain situations need immediate dental care. If you knock out a tooth, it might be possible to successfully reinsert it within the first half an hour to an hour. Carefully pick up the tooth by the crown and rinse off any dirt. Either gently reinsert it, holding it in position with a clean finger or by gently biting down on a clean tissue. Alternatively store it in a small container with a little saline solution, milk or saliva. Come to see us immediately or go to the emergency room. If you have a tooth infection and develop a fever or feel unwell, you will need emergency dental care. Please come to see us or go to the emergency room. A bad tooth infection can develop into an abscess that could potentially be life-threatening, so please do not ignore it.
