Why We Believe CPD (Continued Professional Development) as a Practice is Vital
Did you know that health practitioners, including dentists, are obliged to participate regularly in CPD relevant to their practice? Every practising dental professional must complete a minimum of 60 hours of CPD every three years, most of which must be spent on clinical or scientific activities.
Here at New Age Dental, we know CPD is vital for ensuring that our dental team continues to refresh our skills and to make sure we remain up to date with the latest technologies and materials. We thoroughly embrace the need for CPD and always look forward to increasing our knowledge. Even if CPD weren’t mandatory, we would still attend just as many courses. Dentistry is exciting because it is continually evolving and improving, and our well-qualified dental team love to learn.
Dr Gunjan, our principal dentist is highly committed to CPD. In addition to continually extending her skills and knowledge, Dr Gunjan enjoys mentoring first-year dental graduates and more experienced dentists and has a deep passion for teaching. Our patients already know that New Age Dental is a warm and welcoming practice, and is particularly well-equipped with the latest technologies, including sedation equipment built-in to treatment rooms. Continuing education helps us to provide you with the very best and safest and most appropriate dental care.
